Need roll lost to DE roll?

Hi,

I was in EoE10 freeroll pug and the tank shield dropped, after checking that the tank didn't need MS I rolled need as no-one else needed (I was healer), for some reason though a disenchant roll won the shield.

Does anyone know of any bugs that might have caused this?

Did you character name appeared on the list of greed/disenchant roller?

Are you 100% sure you did not missclick a different option? (greed or pass instead of "need")

I checked and didn't appear anywhere as need greed or pass

It means that time passed and your choice was late, so item went to "Greed/DE" roll pool
