Remove profession and keep bonus?

if i lvl up, lets says tailoring, then use the bonus on my back

if I remove tailoring to learn jellewcrafting will i keep my back bonus?

You won't. I had BS on my main, and even though I can still see the extra socket on my wrist ingame, it's actually inactive. Other profession boni just disappear.

[edit] From what I have heard, removing professions and still keeping their boni was possible in old TBC, however this is no longer the case in TBC Classic.
