1. Isle of Quel'Danas Timewalking (explained)

    The Isle of Quel'Danas has four stages and some side events.

    Main stages;
    Sanctum
    Armory
    Harbor
    And fully "Complete".

    Side events;
    Sunwell Portal
    Anvil and Forge
    Alchemy Lab
    Monument to the Fallen


    There are daily quests that help towards taking the buildings and side quests. For example, Sanctum preparation has two such daily quests, "Erratic Behavior" and "Sentry Wards". These quests just reward gold. When you take the building, the quests are replaced by "Further Conversions" and "Rearming the Wards". These drop an item called "Champion's Purse" which contain a sizable chunk of gold (10) and sometimes a "Champion's Seal", in addition to 40-60 gold per daily quest.


    Taking the Harbor will unlock vendors that sell items for "Champion's Seals". (This is stage 4.)

    These are shared across the server. Progress by both factions on the Isle benefit each other. You also do not need to be any sort of Argent Champion in order to access these rewards.

    Additionally, completing progress on the Isle of Quel'Danas works towards preparation for the release of Sunwell and Magister's Terrace timewalking in the next patch.
    The Sunwell's loot will mirror ICC and Magister's Terrace will mirror the Frozen Halls dungeons (Forge of Souls, Pit of Saron, Halls of Reflection), including the Battered Hilt quest item.

    To start questing in the Isle of Quel'Danas first visit Shattrath and take the quest "Enter, the Deceiver…" When you first get to the Isle you will have to occupy bases from the Dawnblade to open the Sunwell Plateau (which will be released in Patch 3.3 as Timewalking)
    Progression on the isle consists of reclaiming the Sanctum, Armory and Harbor. In addition to this you will be able to open a portal to Shattrath, Alchemy Lab and Smith. Each event will be described below


    Reclaiming the Sanctum
    Active when you first arrive
    The following daily quests are active and award 40-60 gold
    * Erratic Behavior
    * The Sanctum Wards

    The Sanctum Reclaimed
    Activates after 5000 daily quests have been done during Reclaiming the Sanctum
    The daily quests start awarding Champion's Purse or Champion's Writ
    * Further Conversions replaces Erratic Behavior
    * Arm the Wards! replaces The Sanctum Wards

    Reclaiming Sun's Reach Armory
    Activates after 5000 daily quests have been done during Reclaiming the Sanctum
    The following daily quests are active and award 40-60 gold
    * The Battle for the Sun's Reach Armory
    * Distraction at the Dead Scar

    Sun's Reach Armory Reclaimed
    Activates after 24000 daily quests have been done during Reclaiming Sun's Reach Armory
    The daily quests start awarding Champion's Purse or Champion's Writ
    * The Battle Must Go On replaces The Battle for the Sun's Reach Armory
    * The Air Strikes Must Continue replaces Distraction at the Dead Scar

    Activating the Sunwell Portal
    Activates after 5000 daily quests have been done during Reclaiming the Sanctum
    The following daily quests are active and award 40-60 gold
    * Report to Nasuun leads you to Shattrath for the daily quest Intercepting the Mana Cells

    The Sunwell Portal Activated
    Activates after 1750 daily quests have been done during Activating the Sunwell Portal
    A portal in Shattrath to the Isle of Quel'Danas is now spawned
    The daily quests start awarding Champion's Purse or Champion's Writ
    * Know Your Ley Lines
    * Report to Nasuun leads you to Shattrath for Maintaining the Sunwell Portal

    Reclaiming Sun's Reach Harbor
    Activates after 24000 daily quests have been done during Reclaiming Sun's Reach Armory
    The following daily quests are active and award 40-60 gold
    * Intercept the Reinforcements
    * Taking the Harbor

    Sun's Reach Harbor Reclaimed
    Activates after 24000 daily quests have been done during Reclaiming Sun's Reach Harbor
    New vendors become available in the building that sell Tabards, Mounts, iLVL 200 Items, Companions. These vendors use Champion's Seal and do not require you to be a Champion of the Argent Tournament
    The daily quests start awarding Champion's Purse or Champion's Writ
    * Keeping the Enemy at Bay replaces Intercept the Reinforcements
    * Crush the Dawnblade replaces Taking the Harbor

    Rebuilding the Anvil and Forge
    Activates after 24000 daily quests have been done during Reclaiming Sun's Reach Armory
    The following daily quests are active and award 40-60 gold
    * Making Ready

    The Anvil and Forge Rebuilt
    Activates after 1750 daily quests have been done during Rebuilding the Anvil and Forge
    Players can now repair their gear on the isle
    The daily quests start awarding Champion's Purse or Champion's Writ
    * Don't Stop Now.... replaces Making Ready
    * Ata'mal Armaments

    Creating the Alchemy Lab
    Activates after 24000 daily quests have been done during Reclaiming Sun's Reach Harbor
    The following daily quests are active and award 40-60 gold
    * Discovering Your Roots

    The Alchemy Lab Complete
    Activates after 1750 daily quests have been done during Creating the Alchemy Lab
    A vendor for reagents becomes available
    The daily quests start awarding Champion's Purse or Champion's Writ
    * Rediscovering Your Roots replaces Discovering Your Roots
    * Open for Business

    Building the Monument to the Fallen
    Activates when Sun's Reach is fully under your control
    The following daily quests are active
    * A Charitable Donation. This quest is not visible to exalted players
    * A Magnanimous Benefactor visible to exalted players only and grants the title "of the Shattered Sun"

    The Monument to the Fallen Built
    Activates after 1750 daily quests have been done during Building the Monument to the Fallen
    The following daily quests are active
    * Your Continued Support replaces A Charitable Donation. This quest is not visible to exalted players
    * A Magnanimous Benefactor remains active, visible to exalted players only and grants the title "of the Shattered Sun"

    Sun's Reach
    This is the final event, it requires players to do 37500 daily quests while controlling all buildings
    K'iru spawns and blesses the players with K'iru's Song of Victory


    In summary, reasons you should do daily quests on the Isle of Quel'Danas are as follows;
    1. 40-60 gold per daily quest.
    2. Daily quests of taken buildings give Champion's Seals.
    3. Those Champion's Seals can be used for mounts and items for new characters.
    4. Completing the progress through the Isle of Quel'Danas will unlock access to the Sunwell and Magister's Terrace timewalking during patch 3.3 content.

  2. How/where can you find out which part of the Isle progression the realm is on at the moment? I'm curious how much the people raid loggi- er, I mean, playing on Frostmourne are actually *clears throat*, "cooperating", and doing these quests?

  3. You talk to either the questgivers on the isle or Exarch Nasuun in Shattrath, they will tell you the progress in percent

    How exactly are we supposed to get the advertised 200 ilvl gear ? Quests only give gold or Champion's Writ which is used for reputation purposes.

    Can anyone help me and point out where the traders are and how to get the seals mentionned in the OP ?

    1 "pve/pvp" season lasts around 3 month. But the Reset occurs once per year.
    Example:
    Frostmourne-Season 1 was 15-April-2020 till 14-April-2021. Character could be transfered to Icecrown on 15-April-2021
    Frostmourne-Season 2 was 15-April-2021 and most likely will end on 14-April-2022.


    So in a single "Frostmourne-Season" you experience x4 pve/pvp seasons -> from "naxx" to "ICC+RS"

    Btw, about "transfer mechanic":
    you will need to "manually" move your charactersm to Icecrown realm:

    The only requirement is being above lvl 10
