Technical no .exe?

i downloaded the game but i cant find a .exe to launch it.
i tried downloading normal wow to pull the .exe from that file and put it into the custom folder for this private server and it did not work like i thought it would :(
what do?
i am also admittedly a wow noob in general (only played classic, never retail, and only for 3 months) and have never tried to play a private server for it. sorry if this is a stupid question.

there should be a wow.exe, maybe your antivirus is deleting it.

temporary disable your AV -> start the torrent download again but this time pick only wow.exe to download (you do not need to download the whole game again)
