Gun sounds
Hi.
I'm leveling a hunter and having fun so far, except one thing... I picked engineering and crafted a gun. Does anyone know how to replace default gun sounds? I think I'm going to be deaf before reaching lvl cap. I'd be grateful for any guide or mpq patch that helps this.

There are some addons that can "silence" the gun shot, for exemple Gun SIlencer: https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/silencer

you make a file named Gun under data>sound>item>weapons>gun

Didn't work
This worked for wotlk:
(similar to this topic https://forum.warmane.com/showthread.php?t=393780 )
Create the following MAIN WOW FOLDER > Sound > Item > Weapons > Gun
then create empty files:
GunFire01.wav
GunFire02.wav
GunFire02.wav
This will silence the gun. You will hear only reloads. If you want to silence reloads try adding:
GunLoad01.wav
GunLoad02.wav
GunLoad03.wav
