WotLK Is the PvP meta to pick female?

It appears the top pvp teams choose female characters. Is this because they have smaller hit boxes (perhaps making it easier to hide behind things or run away) and/or are harder for an opponent to click/mouse-over?

Or is it just an aesthetic preference?

I think it's just aesthetics. Some may be "sweaties".

For me, WoW only made few decent looking male models. While female models are surely more generally appealing. Not really fan of shoulders so wide you could place Warmane's TOS between them.

i always assumed men who choose a male character are homosexuals because they choose to stare at a man's *** all the time

As a guy who has to stare at a rear-end for hours at a time, I prefer it to be a female one, my main is female but most alts are male.
