Technical New to the server - fechnical problems

Hey,
im new on warmane and i have some questions/problems with the wotlk client i downloaded via bittorrent.

First the client is pretty laggy. Latency and FPS are fine but i get some serious fps drops couple of times per minute.
Especially when i am in crowded areas or dungeons.
Ive an AMD 3600, GTX 1070 and 32GB RAM.
Other clients like retail wow run smooth on max settings.
Do I need to change some special settings on the warmane client?
Everything i tried like lower the settings did not help at all.

The second problem is, that the client "forgets" like all the setting i change every time i start the game again.
I need to skip the cinematic and agree to TOS every time.

This old program uses 2GB of RAM, so it is limited. It was not made for such crazy population in cities. About dungeons - it should be all fine. Use[at your own risk] something like "Large Address Aware" or similar tool, that enables wow to use more RAM.

This means you wow folder is set to "read-only" in properties. Remove that.
