Can confirm. It's working as intended now.
At least a few words from Admin team would something kind after this issue happened, geez no confirmation from you guys that this issue was fixed. Only the users are confirming that it was fixed you look so unprofessional at least you can say what happened and any preventive measures too. This behaviour will only cause that a lot of users just disable the two-factor authentication which will lead to potential security matters that at the end you will have to deal with it too.
Well, after this issue (again, it not the first time) I changed to 2FA App, no more dealing with this bs again.
Don't do that, instead, switch to app instead of e-mail.
