100 stam is 1000 hp which will translate to 150 hp increase from deathstrike heal and 200hp from improve runetap
122 resil is around 2.5% dmg reduction
how can you compare it with 2.5k hp lifesteal proc that has 11% proc rate
if you take an average 2ppm bryntroll gonna heal you for around 5khp
Edited: June 23, 2022
in that same minute ur 100 more stam gonna net you 1650 hp from death strikes and 600 hp from imp rune tap (with glyph)
do you get an idea now or what?
even if u properly add aditional stamina from talent and imp healing from vamp blood and imp blood presence
the amount of extra healing you get from t2 wep is still not gonna be close to compensate loss of bryn procs

Fair point on the DS healing. I mixed that up.
None the less I consider the T2 WF weapon as better.
You make it appear as if Blood is only about healing as much as possible but in fact dmg mitigation plays a more important role. Especially in BGs preventing dmg is more important than self heal because you usually have anyway a healer in your back.
Stam gives you a flat health increase, the additional heal is just a extra.
You make it appear as if 122 Resilience make no difference but it's your most important stat until soft cap is reached.
@OP
If your final goal is competitive arena then I'd recommend to get Bryntroll because it's better for UH.
If your goal is to have fun with Blood then get the T2 WF wep. It's also viable for arena.
All the points brought up are valid, but we must remember whether in BGs or arenas the OP won't always have uptime on his target to get the Bryntroll heal procs, e.g getting kited or eating burst while under CC, whereas the extra dmg mitigation and health from the T2 axe are always there for him.
End of the day OP has to decide if the 23 coins are for BGing or for serious arenas.
But then, If I am going to do some raiding, RDF, etc, then the Bryntroll is actually the choice to go, correct?
both weapons are sub-optimal for pve content (if you planning to play dps, doesnt matter that much for tank spec). at least bryn is fairly easy to get
Maaaaan, dont listen to these weak minded meta *****es. They are noobs who cant face an actual challenge to play an underdog spec.
Unholy is straight just boring dog**** low burst spec thats compatibile with spellers.
Blood is THE most fun arena spec there is, just utilitize it with enough frost talents so u have kichborne, endless winter and chill of the grave (for the instant chains+shell vs freeze or chains+icebound vs stuns (ofc glyph for 7sec shell). If you get freezed before u jump on a mage, u lost and u probably play blood DK horribly wrong. Thats not how u do 1800+ rating)
Go with oathbinder or shadowmourne, WF weapon has inferior damage and is generally for pussies.
U get resillience from other items and sockets. also go for T10,5 bonus (ideally shoulders and chest, WF legs, helm and gloves).
Go for the high item level ArmorPen PvE items.
With all the resil gems and enchants you should be able to get around 900 resilience and 80% ARP.
Your best arena partner is Prot Warrior full PvE. Other good partners are Rogue (combat or sub), Feral, Arms, Hunter, etc.
Always use early mark of blood, especially on ferals, boomkins n stuff, any DoT dps is a great target. Usualy it saves your partner defense CD and you both can focus on bursting ur target down.
Rotation: (in unholy presence) Chains, PS, HS, HS, DS, ERW, DRW, 6x HS.
Prot warrior usually keeps the target stunned/silenced for 6-12 seconds and thats all you need to delete anything.
Your counters are Holy Paladins (and anything else with tons of armor from shield), which are mainstream meta cocksuckers. U get to lose vs em. The rest is an easy business.
Another thing. Use lichborne against poly (pre-use) undeads cannot be sapped or polymorphed
Enjoy.
also: Formula for ARP cap: (15000+armor)/3, which means vs 8K armor ur ARP affects cca 8K armor so its nulled. On a plate 15k armor u shred only 10K so they will remain on 5K armor even if u had 100% arp. but vs 6K armor u need only 80% arp to nulify em. Vs 30K armor enemy stay at 15K armor even with 100% ARP so thats why ARP aint so op in PVP vs Plate shielders such as holy paladin.

Now go finish dis.
http://forum.warmane.com/showthread.php?t=427676
To be fair, I wrote it, but I lost the progress (did not saved correctly) and then I did not want to finish it again coz I was way too much pissed.
Thankfully I just wrote an abstract of it right above your comment <3 GO BLOOD

mofo, he asked in specific he needs suggestions to be tanky and to have most self-sustain. gtfo with your worthless 1900 mmr opinion lmao
I'm wondering if you wouldn't perform way better when you play Frost in this scenario.
You would probably be able to deal more burst dmg in that 6-12 sec time window by spamming Froststrike with double trinket proc + unbreakable armor up.
And you would wreck plate targets since Froststrike ignores armor.
There is a reason why Turtle cleave with Fdk used to be a quite successful comb back on AT.
But why Oathbinder, when it gives AGI, instead of Glorenzelg, for example?
Coz it gives a lot of crit and arp,BDK has 245% crit dmg on hs and ds,main dmg abilities plus it is physical dmg dealer like warr,if we don't count diseases and benefits from agi and arp a lot. With strength you would hit a bit harder, but you would crit far less often, like unholy. Imo 3-4 agi items with arp (one of those perhaps with hit) would be enough for very decent results. Plus spec is fun.

Scroll down to mwmwmmwmwmwm comment, there is nice explanation why go some agi items instead of full strength. Video is arena focused.
