WotLK Keep seeing low lvl people doing .save, looks weird.

This guy today lvl 55 mage, kept running to Kaja, the vendor next to Org AH. Typing .save, then running back to the AH. Back and fourth, at least like 30-40times. What is this guy doing?

It's a command for saving the changes done to the char(talents, gear, w/e). It has to be available on the server, tho, and I don't think it's even a thing on warmane. Some people just believing everything they hear.

I think that some addon does it or something like that. It's a command to persist the changes to the database. Only that it is disabled here. Like when you get some cool gear and trade 1c with someone else to make sure you don't lose it if the server crashes. (I don't know if that works, it's something I just remembered)
