WotLK Signing solo vs duo

Signing BG solo <1min que. Signing with my friend duo 20min que. Whats the deal with that? We become so goal oriented that I now prefer signing solo than with my buddy and that sucks lol since me and him have been smashing bgs since vanilla wow.

Yeah its on while we duo and solo (we are currently on horde duoing as ally this very sec)

Im exaggerating a littlebit with the que difference but I think we both agreed that it was a noticeable difference

When you are with duo que, it will first search for another duo que to face to. If it doesn't find after sometime it will put you VS solo que players but probably with higher MMR.
Thats why duo takes longer, it is searching for another duo que on your MMR.
