WotLK I've lost a few of my heirlooms itens and I can find them anymore

So I made a dk and I wanted to go frost, I had the one handed sword on my main char Seif (a mage). So I made the dk and went to Seif to send the sword and she wasnt anywhere, I checked my others char but none had it, and then I checked the other itens and some of then are gone too, the bone bow, the jordan staff and the purple cloth armor. I want to know how to get them back and why they're gone out of nowhere

Either they are deleted (with unused alt/s), or they are somewhere on your toons.
