WotLK Everytime I open the WOW.exe program I have to change the options

Hello! I'm having a little trouble wiht my client. It is not a big problem, but it would surely help the quality of life. So, basically everytime I open WoW.exe file to start the game I have to go through the process of entereing my account name( it doesn't save even though I mark "Remember Account name"), I have to change the Resolution setting so it isn't small and I have to open the Addons page to load out of date Addons. In essence, it doesn't save the changes I have done the previous time I played and I have to do this everytime I start the game. I would appreciate any and all help I can get! Thank you!

right click on WoW folder> Properties> remove "read-only"
