WotLK No random BG finder?

Hello, sorry if this is a noob question but I couldn't find the answer in the forums. I'm leveling at Icecrown and currently at level 52. I opened the battegrounds menu and noticed that you can't queue for random battlegrounds. I remember being able to queue for rbgs back in Wrath, is this a level 80 only feature? Or am I misremembering?

Yes, it's only available at level 80: "The Random Battleground option can be found in the Battleground tab of the PvP frame and is only available for level 80 characters at this time" (3.3.3)
