ICC 10 Heroic with 6 people [SayNoToTryhard]

Hello Warmane community!

We’d like to share a little achievement we managed to do as a guild which is to clear the whole ICC 10 heroic with only 6 people!

First a little background how this came up to be. We started with trying to clear 10m normal with 5 people, as a fun little experiment to see if it’s possible and how hard it would be. We had to think about some new possible approaches to the bosses and it was a lot of fun, but it turned out pretty easy at the end. So we thought, why not try the heroic version of the raid and maybe add 1 more person for safety?

We knew Lich King with 6 people is possible thanks to That’s Hurt guild and their kill (https://youtu.be/zZ076BUTY7Q) but very tight on timer as they almost wiped to enrage – shout out to them! But we didn’t know if bosses like Sindragosa or Proffesor Putricide are doable with such a low number of people. It turns out all of them are and it was very fun coming up with ways to optimize our damage done and damage taken. Unfortunately, gear stopped us from killing Lich King as we simply didn’t have enough damage and survivability to push the phases in reasonable time. We called it off for some time but said we would come back and finish what we started. So we did 1 year later, we finally got the group together again and managed to kill him in a few tries!
