Technical Regarding bans

Why are there bans for "Afk in BG" but no bans "Abandoning a Raid", it doesn't make any sense to me.

I know the philosophy is "we will never force anyone to stay in a raid at the end of a ban" but that doesn't hold true for bgs and seems.....odd to me.

Why "Force a person to stay in a BG at the end of a ban" but not in arguably a much more important event such as a raid. People only get 1 raid ID a week, and by joining a raid and abandoning it because your favorite item didn't drop off the 2nd boss, the last 10 bosses are a lot more likely to fail.

To me it doesn't seem
1). Fair
2). Consistent in the rules set out before us.

I personally think either both should be punished or neither.

For the same reason there are bans for going AFK in a dungeon and trying to force people to kick you so you avoid the debuff, and for the same reason there are no bans for leaving a Battleground. Leaving and going AFK are different things.
