WotLK stuck at Retrieving character list

I'm trying to log in, it's all fine, accepted authenticator number from email, but stuck at Retrieving character list for some time and then disconnect me. It's same for all 4 wotlk realms.

Exactly the same story for several hours now. I thought it would go away but it just doesn’t!

yep, same here
stucking at "retrieving char list" or at "connected"
getting a new client didnt help
creating a new acc didnt help too
was playing frostmourne prev year with no issues
a friend from another country (im ru if it matters) is able to log in using my acc with no issues
any solutions?
