1. Ninja looting!

Hello guys i hope you are having a wonderful evening, has anyone noticed rising numbers of ninjas on Icecrown? its actually crazy. Im member in guilds on all of my charracters but sometimes i just like the non-serious feeling of pugging. The last 3 weeks, i have been ninjad at least 2-3 times especially on icc25s(pugs). The funny part is that it seems like no one really cares about getting banned anymore. Im seriously thinking about recording every single run, not loot wise but just to have something to report. Sounds crazy isnt it ? I think this issue is destroying the quality of the realm and the community. What do you guys think about tightening the rules? Would that solve the issue? Joining a guild shouldnt be a solution for ninja looters. Yeah and all this makes wanna quit warmane unfornately. Cheers. I just want to hear some opinions about this.

  2. It's your own responsibility to avoid ninjas. You want to quit because you are under impression that someone else should take care of it, so you feel cheated, but that's not how it works. Realize that it's a part of the game, like any other part of the game.

  3. The fact you're talking about quitting, instead of starting your own raids where you can make sure loot isn't stolen, says a lot.

PS: Ignore angrylol saying it's "part of the game." It isn't, nor is it meant to be. It's people who do it, not the game, which should be clear when there are rules and punishment against it... but some people use bizarro world logic to justify themselves by saying breaking the rules is "pArT oF tHe GaMe."

  4. I'm not sure at what level of delusion you operate, but it is factually a part of the game, it is happening right now as I write this, it happened to this guy, it has happened to me and countless other people. It is a part of the game.

Thanks for exemplifying what I was talking about perfectly. Couldn't have asked for a better case.

Heads up, everyone: there are people doing ERP in WoW right now, so you better get that screensaver shortcut ready; you're all playing a porn game after all.

  6. Project worth hundreds of millions and having bright minds overlooked perfectly known concept of ninja in a game where gear was made really important. When they made all the loot systems, no one knew that there will be "ninjas". Makes sense, your logic is so perfect, you convinced every human on the planet.

And they knew player will make certain parts of the game erotic, or whatever you meant.

There is no case to be made, you and 5 other players are only ones who have questions about this for some weird reason.

  7. A little before world of warcraft was ever created, ninjas were already roaming mmorpgs. So yes, ninjas are part of the game. and they will ever be.

No, they aren't. It's people's behavior, not part of the game. Behavior that is considered illegal. By this moon logic Blizzard made the game intending to create a problem for their GMs to have to solve. I guess when they changed the loot system it was because they wanted to fire some GMs, amirite.

I can't believe this has to be spelled out, that this inability to dissociate separate things is real.
    I must be being trolled.

  9. You can undress your character and roleplay sexual activities all you want, dosent make wow a porn game, just because you can say whatever you want on chatt dosent mean you can spew out whatever **** you want without consequences while screaming "freedom of speech". Gearing your character for further progress in game is if not the most important aspect in the game and such should be taken serious.

  10. Most important part of the game is navigating trough interactions with other players. Splitting loot is interaction with other players. This is not some action adventure single player game. Other players will **** you over, even if they can't get away with it. No matter what rules or what "everyone[lol]" thinks, there was, are and will be ninjas. You can nuke them however you want, permaban their ip and hardware, there will still be ninjas. So, the fact of reality is that ninjas are a part of the game, thee system that was purposefully made to allow it is not even that important, it just shows that they understood what's important in social game. All this "how it should be", "how it was intended" is just some hollow bs in the end.

Play the game and know that ninjas are a fact of reality. Know that you will not get your way sometimes, no matter how "right" or "wrong" you are. Essence of the game is not to click on pixels and kill those free loot npcs, it's to deal with other players, good and bad. If it was just about getting loot, wow would have died a year after it was launched, there was no sophisticated manipulation techniques to keep the corpse alive as it is now.

"Stealing loot bad ugabuga" is just truly shallow thing to say.

  11. As far as I know warmane doesn't take away ninjaed items, that might have something to do with it.

They can endure the 2 month ban, then just play another account and come back later with their ninjaed DBW.

Also some people here on forum realy living up to their username lol.

  12. pug raiding is like having sex with random girl at bar, sometimes u just get std. i'd prefer labor my *** for some gold then do gdkp or carry. but ofc, having sex with people u know in your guild is much more fun and waay safer and efficient.

but yeah, i think the ban isnt punishing enough for raid ninjas. maybe add a forced permanent ninja title on the character which can only be removed by paying coins on the website so people can avoid them lol.

  13. I always pug raids because guilds are like having a second job. I came to trust pug leaders that reserve specific items in lower gears. There are great pug leaders in high gear that raid almost every day farming shadowmourne and gold. It is easy to spot good raids when ninja'ed a lot lol

  14. No, they aren't. It's people's behavior, not part of the game. Behavior that is considered illegal. By this moon logic Blizzard made the game intending to create a problem for their GMs to have to solve. I mean there are differences between "An actual ninja" and "feeshbruh neeeenja", a meme inwhich countless friends of mine and guild members of mine made to represent some moron claiming ninja looting because they didn't get the item they wanted.

/roll, loses roll, doesn't get item = Fishbro ninja spam in global for hours.
Joins raid, see's "trolls will get loot banned" in raid rules, quite happy with abrasive raid rules, runs a successful raid, wipes raid 3 times to same mechanic on boss fight, get's loot banned ----> Suprised pickachu face -----> Fishbro ninja spam in global for hours.

While I do agree ninja looters need to be punished when people just take items whenever they feel like it, there's a lot of people on the server that ignore or literally just say "fk the rules" until they need to report a ninja, and then they have 0 proof except hearsay, don't have screenshots of the raid rules, roll, or even reserves, then spam the dumbest ****.

The countless amount of people that are clueless about what actually is ninja looting is mind boggling

  15. "Do NOT deface players in public (global channel etc) especially if you have no proof against them. Actions may be taken against players who continue to call others ninjas in public channels."

Quote from the rules section of ninja loot rules, Report them.
