Once WotLK ends, what will happen to chars ? Will transfer be available ?

I'm thinking ahead and couldn't find any details on the announcement, but
is there any plans for char transfer once the server reaches the end of the expansion ?

If yes, being 3x, I wonder if the only option will be Icecrown.

If no, will the realm keep going as an mid-rate(3x) alternative to Lordaeron/Icecrown ?

I have been asking this for a long time and have not gotten a decent answer. I am not willing to start a multi-year grinding progression server without knowing what happens afterwards. lol

In a thread, they say that it is too early to determine or announce the policy, because as long as it is announced,it is hard to change. I guess the final policy will be based on server population and activities. If there are always more than 10k active characters playing, maybe it will be permanent.

They got transfered to Icecrown just like Onyxia will after it ends.
