So I have seen alliance warriors with the exalted pvp mace, yet horde after a 4 hour av can only get 300-500 honor if u were there from the start. How exactly is alliance able to get the exalted rewards while horde players who have qued every game are barely to honored?

Alliance nerds live to be obese unpleasant creatures that grind 24-7. Never take them as a benchmark lol (if you have a life).

Alliance farmed rep by exploiting the rams that were dropping 30-40 scraps per mob and turning them in for 250 rep per 20 along with 7g (repeatable)

Thousands of gold was injected into the economy due to this and many people bought epic mounts right away and won't lose them.

horde had scraps quest too, resulting in 13g but no av rep
further, horde gets alliance items dropped -> no turn in

gold was disadded, but riding skills, guild vaults etc. bought on horde site werent removed.

alliance apparently had more quests possible, also granting rep (and gold). resulting in plenty having exalted with av faction, epic mounts, etc.
=> nothing disadded.

meanwhile, dm:e farm was nerfed, and store opened.

The alliance crystals quest as of this moment is still granting 250 rep per turn-in (5 crystals)

It was 5 in vanilla.

ANYWAY Alterac Valley and BGs in general are a complete mess because of all the gear rewards ranks requiring HONOR KILLS only. The means people simply farm HK and the graveyards, don't even attempt to win or do any objectives, resulting 12+ hour AV.

And so you got 20 or so alliance farming kills, 10 alliance afk, and other 10 alliance farming rams for rep.

This is actually the worst thing that can happen for this server. Very sad. Posted about this before, but a similar situation happened in ArcheAge when it re-released fresh servers.
-Certain people exploit a quest turn in, ramp way ahead too quickly while everyone else grows at normal pace
-They go around camping everyone
-Devs finally fix exploit way too late
-Let all the exploiters keep their gear and rewards

The entire game, not just the server, literally died within a couple months after this incident.

This is basically the same situation happening now on Onyxia.
-Alliance able to ramp much more quickly
-Now able to spawn camp in BGs
-Ramping even more quickly now because of this
-Still not fixed
-Will it get fixed? Will progress roll back for those who took advantage?


It's sad that the only solution horde has atm is to stop respawning in a BG.... literally stand half-afk as a ghost just to make it stop. Bruh...

Something needs to be done to stop this insane gear gap from growing between the factions. Just in the last couple days, it's grown exponentially, and continues by the minute.

It's pretty clear that PvP on this server was not well thought out (wtf is this ranking system) and probably not tested at all (just look at the bugs in AV).
Oh well. We're all still playing. Guess it doesn't matter enough or people wouldn't play.

It happens the other way around too. Was in AV earlier as Ally where we were getting farmed on SP GY. Happens much more to Horde though :P result of a very dumb implementation of the ranking system

Because just like on live ptr, people do anything but test and report ****, they're just playing like normal. You could spend years in beta and get a ton of bugs still, bc regular players are probably the worst QA you could have.

ALL THE GOLD WAS TAKEN BACK. Litearlly all gold was taken back and everyones gold put to 0c. AV Rep can be farmed in a day by farming storm crystals lol....farming storm crystal turn ins from rams is not exploiting

so people lost their epic mount and all the mats/items they bought with the gold?
