Leveling new characters

I recently made a fresh start on Lordaeron, coming from Icecrown.

I started with a priest and will later go down the lane of dual healspecc.
My question now is, since Lordaeron has the original experience rate, would make it sense to level the character through RDF alone? It was nearly impossible on Icecrown through the lack of gear you could acquire compared to your level speed.

Fact is, I just hate leveling, especially on a PVP server. Hellfire Peninsula was a nightmare and I am not very keen leveling there with a 1x modifier.
I could just buy a character, yes, but in my experience, equipping a empty character at 80 seems even harder than leveling one.

What I always do when I come back as a priest is, I go disc while leveling. Not only can I take on let's say 2 mobs while leveling safely but I can also queue for rdf as a healer with fast queues. Always staying queued and questing a bit while you wait helps speed things up a lot (Up until like 71-72)

Why would you play on x1 if you hate leveling?
