I have collected 30 points or points how to change from a human to a tauren is it a race or a faction?

You would go to your Account on the site, the services, and pick the Server, Character, and how you want to "pay" for it, and use Change Faction, which also lets you pick a Race that works with your Class.

Note: not all Race/Class Combos work. For example, if you are a Human Paladin, the only Race you can be with a Faction Switch is Blood Elf.

For 30 points, you will be able to change to a horde race, but not all races will be available. Available races depend on what your class is.

For 20 points you will only be able to change to another race in the alliance. Available races depend on what your class is.
