Technical Addons to client

Do I have to do anything specific to get addons to work on Warmane? Is there a version limit you can't go past?
I tried unzipping to InterfaceAddOns, but they don't work/show up.

Warmane uses 3.3.5 old WotLK client. This means addons for retail's classic 3.4.0 WotLK client won't work here.

You may wanna check if your addons are installed incorrectly.

Go to your WoW/Interface/AddOns/ -folder, and check if the AddOns are packed within an extra folder. This is usually the issue when AddOns aren't showing up, despite being for the correct WoW version, and installed within the right folder.

E.g. the DBM -addon you have installed might look like this:
WoW/Interface/AddOns/DBM_3.3.5/DBM
WoW/Interface/AddOns/DBM_3.3.5/DBM-TBC

When the addon should be installed like this:
WoW/Interface/AddOns/DBM
WoW/Interface/AddOns/DBM-TBC
