People always stand on top of its model, wondered if it was possible to just increase his size or w/e its kind of really annoying

Then players will make themselves bigger with flasks or items and block the NPC all the same.

Best to use macro/key bindings to talk with the dude.

You can just use shift + v , click on nameplate, use interact with target maccro.

I support this change. Even though it wouldn't be a total solution, it would reduce the complaints and inconvenience for 90+% of interactions.

Easy to implement and effective.
