<Down Under Gaming> is recruiting!

Down Under Gaming was originally founded as an Australian based casual raiding guild that's now expanded with players all across the world. It was formed with the goal of being an oasis away from the seemingly never ending horde of toxic players and guilds we've all come to loathe, at a raiding time that didn't seem to exist.

Over the course of the last ~18 months, we've taken dozens of players ranging from the super casual to the intermediate, and progressed our way through ICC to achieve our guild first LOD in December 2023. At time of writing (March 2024), we've successfully completed 7 full heroic 25 clears and are now seeking to expand both our players and roster to push ourselves into the next stage of PVE progression.

What we offer:
First and foremost we'd like to think that we've built a community of awesome players here. Constructive criticism is always welcome, but people being toxic or clearly not exhibiting the values of the guild are swiftly shown the exit. All players are welcome, from the casual to the hardcore, whether they want to just be here socially, or whether they want to raid heroic content. All we ask is that people come with the right mindset to learn and progress, play to the best of their ability, and take on feedback to better themselves. Our current raid schedule should cater to all players from the casual, gearing, to LOD slayers alike.

Raid Time & Schedule:
All raid times are 0830 ST, regardless of the day. Forming commences 15 minutes beforehand.

• Wednesday: RS25nm
• Friday: ICC10 Bane/Glory/Dynamic
• Saturday: ICC25 LOD
• Sunday: ICC25 8+/12 heroics

Loot System:
Weekday raids are currently /roll and weekend raids use DKP. Everyone is subject to the same DKP rules, there are no random or 'on the spot' allocations and any changes to the DKP system are announced at a minimum of 7 days in advance. Our Officers and Raid Leaders don't believe in cheating others by awarding outrageous DKP to select players or giving random 'awards', so if you're looking for a guild where the leadership steals from you, this is not the place for you.

DKP is subject to a weekly 10% decay, this is to prevent players from having outrageous amounts of DKP and subjecting new players from ever being able to receive any gear. All DKP awarding and spending is also posted on Discord after each raid for full transparency, so all members are welcome to audit.

What we require from you:
Treat everyone with respect, try and help as much as you can, provide guidance to those that aren't as knowledgeable, have fun. This is an English only speaking guild, so please consider that before applying.
