WotLK Don Carlos' Famous Hat - transmog?

Hi, i was curious about this item for a while and it would be nice to hear the truth about it. Is this item (the blue version that drops from HC instance) usable for transmog as it Is also cloth armour? Iam worried that it has some unique toy-like characteristics or something, because in the other versions of wow after wotlk this isnt possible to transmog? So is there someone who tried it yet? And it worked?

You ought to test it. I somehow think it's not possible, if it were, I think I would've seen more of them around..
