Unusual Icecrown Lag

Over the past few weeks, I've noticed Icecrowns lag has gotten pretty bad. It's definitely server-side and has nothing to do with my connection.
Can any staff explain the cause or when it may be resolved? I'm assuming it has to do with some sort of backend process or hardware/resource issues.

Is this happening from time to time or all the time? If you mean the latter, I haven't noticed anything like it.

It's constant but random. I will be dueling and maybe every 2 or 3 minutes, I will click to cast and it acts like I'm DC'd for ~1.5s before it displays the cast bar. Often the cast is finished before it even shows the spell being cast. The chat function has the same lag, as does player movement. During WPVP everyone frequently gets rubber-banded back 30 yards while we're traveling as a raid group.
