WotLK I keep getting guild notifications when I'm not in a guild.

There was a guild I joined today, and shortly after joining, I can't see the name above my character's name. The guild tab is inaccessible, and I cannot chat out to my guild. However I can see the guild chat and notifications. I have tried relogging, and /g quitting, to no avail. I think I encountered a rare guild bug.

It stopped happening the next day. I looked to other forums, and apparently it is a bug, a rare one that can happen. /gquitting, relogging, or asking to be booted can fix it. I appear to have been booted as quickly as I joined, a startup guild, but the game hadn't caught up yet. Been playing Warmane for 10 years almost, first time it happened.

*Update*

Joined a second guild, same thing happened, name of guild disappeared from above my name, and guild tab was greyed out like I wasn't in one, but I was still getting notifications of who was popping on and offline in the guild, and I could read the guild chat, but couldn't participate.
