Pve - alliance

Hey guys,
I am coming back to play at Warmane again after a period of 1-2 years.
I have always played on Horde (Icecrown server) and I was wondering if it is still the case that Alliance is not a good choice if you are going to play PVE.

Can someone share some thoughts on the topic before I start a new character, please?

I play on the Alliance side, and I have to say, our raids are not great. Even with clear instructions from the raid leader on Discord, it's like some players' brains are offline. It feels like there's always someone like Joe Biden on our team - thank goodness there aren't any stairs for them to stumble on. In battlegrounds, the Horde consistently dominates the Alliance, so I'm considering transferring my character to the Horde side.
