Hello fellow shamans.

I need to set point of reforging in to mastery for bigger elemental dmg.
Hi. As far as I am aware, ALL enh spells and dmg dealing abilities (shocks, wep imbues, elemental shields, UE, LB/CL, Lava Lash, etc) benefit from mastery with the EXCEPTION of Stormstrike, which is pure physical.
Yes, Windfury too.
Please, somebody correct me if i'm wrong
Yes it's a physical attack but it belongs to nature magic school and therefore it's affected by mastery. The same principle is applyed to Lava Lash, which is a physical attack but belongs to fire magic school, so it also benefits from mastery. The UE Wind increases attack speed and not damage, so mastery has no effect over it
EDIT: so i've done some reading, and apparently i was wrong in relation to Windfury being affected by mastery. It is NOT affected by Mastery although it belongs to nature school of magic
Ok but why windfury and unleash wind is absorb by DK green bubble??
As far i know it can only absorb magic dmg.
Mostly fights vs dks are lost by this bubble.
And there is a thing what grinds my head.
Same opponent, same ap and weapon and huge diffs between windfury procs.
Yesterday i fight vs lock.
There was ~30k tripple windfury crit and 5-6sec later ~60k tripple crit.(58.xxx dmg)
Why?? Isn't windfury scale right??
Rofl no. The windfury buff spell cast is nature. The effect is 3 extra physical attacks, which are mitigated by armor. They're physical, not magic, at all. WF goes straight through DK AMS. That being said, no, WF is not affected by mastery - only our fire, frost and nature spell damage is, but ALL of that damage is affected. If you're playing your enhance shaman properly, then mastery is the strongest secondary stat by quite a bit in PvE for dps.
