535 is for RHC's and stuff.
540 is for all raids if I remember well!
540 :) all extra is extra avoidance, but better get those directly instead of with def rating.

Every Bosses Have About 5.75% Crt Chance .
So You Need 540 Def Rating For Tanking That Dont Receive Any Crt Melee Dmg .
You Dont Need To Gem Def , Just Gear Up Tanking And Defense Rating Will Cap With Items .
if you arent way above def cap from gear you dont have enough to tank those two raids^^
