Hey guys, let me get straight to the point I prefer Haste over Mastery. With haste you get lower GCD, faster cast time, soul swapping becomes easier and faster shard regain but mastery does 10-15% more damage. I heard people talking that haste is bugged you get no extra ticks etc...So I'm here to ask you folks is mastery better than haste on Warmane?
Perhaps if people started to use the search function, they won't need to create posts like these that have been answered multiple times.
Anyways, it really depends on your play-style.
Reach the first haste cap and then forge/gem mastery. Depends on playstyle.Quote:

Go with haste till you reach 7400 or something like that, then switch to mastery. There are extra ticks with haste, don't worry about that.
The first haste cap is 5273. The next one is at 10289. He won't get any extra ticks on DoTs with 7400 haste. Only a little difference in casting spells, prolly 0.1 or 0.2 seconds but i highly doubt that. Considering the amount of warrior in this server ( which are bugged as hell positively) , go with the first haste cap and stack mastery. You need the dmg , haste won't really help you against bugged warriors with nearly to 100% uptime on ANY target. Can't wait for them to be fixed... god knows whenQuote:

Problem here on warmane is that haste instead of increasing ur dot ticks it increases dot duration which is a dps loss over time. Bugtracker Report:

I will say if you are able to cast freely in arena then haste is better. But most of the team consist of warrior and they have 100% uptime on us, in this case mastery is better as mentioned by Synx7.
why mentioning "bugged" warrior?

Tho back on topic 9778haste and then mastery. with soo gear 13778 and mastery. Haste is and always will be better.
Tho on molten then have to fix haste first cause now its totally bugged. Tho its always nice to have 9778 and stack mastery. Cirt is useless for us (aff)

Thanks everyone! You guys were really helpful. I'm gonna get to the first haste cap and then stack mastery sooner or later they are gonna fix it anyway. xD
my warlock on live (which copied the gear of the top players) stacked haste gear til like 30% or so (via gearing, gems and reforging) then got sp+pvp gems, and reforged for more mastery.Quote:

Edit: It was insanely fun btw, but its basis for "working" was getting all of your proc's active (then using your offensive skills and trinket) then applying dots to someone, copying em to all of the 2 or 3 ppl your fighting and cc'ing a healer. and you do a **** load of pressure xd
