Patch

It says i need to get a patch and so i go to get it and it says that a file is read only. any suggestions?

First of all, make sure your realmlist is set properly. It should be if you downloaded a client from our links here. Next, make sure your client has read AND write permissions. I have a mac so I can't give you exact instructions but a quick search in the forums will yield a number of results explaining how to do that.

Log in with username not email.

go to the folder In wich you installed wow, right click it and uncheck "Read Only". Not fully green, not with a tick inside, just unchecked and empty.

I cant login with just username , it says it isnt correct but i can log in on the site. Read only is unchecked
