I see many warrior equipping leather gears instead of equivalent plate gears. While plate gears give lof of strength and arp, why agility better than plate?
Is this warmane bugs or it is designed like this?
On end-games items, plate warriors still have good crits + dbw proc giving more crit. Should I stick with plate gears?
It's wotlk's itemization. agi gear just gives more stats and becomes more valuable when you're closer to BIS. even rets use agi offsets in their bis set.
As a warrior you have a 55% crit soft-cap. At this point - assuming you are hit and expertise capped - your non-critical melee hits will be pushed off the table. So you either crit or get a Glancing Blow.Quote:

Yeah that is correct, however when you talk About cloak - warriors have two BiS cloak, one from Gunship with haste; the other one from ToC25 HC Tribute Run "Sylvanas Cunning" that comes with ARP instead of Haste. For bracers You also have Two BiS - Tosska and Umbrage (the same situation as with cloak "arp vs haste". For gloves You also have two - Aldrianas gloves and Scourge stranglers HC from ICC10HC. yeah it true that Aldrianas have better stats than the secons one's I mentions, however instead of haste They have crit. Last time when I experienced on Warrior on a test realm of a blizzlike server, with Sxourge stranglers I could boost crit up to 60-61% percent and the DPS comparing? Slightly Equal, yet with aldrianas You go ahead ;p
It's not Warmane bugs, it's Blizzard being bad at their own game. Leather gear with ArP is just better. Take Aldriana, Toskk, and Sylvanas and compare them to any Str equivalent and you'll see they're just better - a gain in all other stats for the price of a slight AP loss is well worth it at this item level.
It's amazing how 5 years after ICC's release people still don't know how to properly gear their Warrs. 2 days ago I argued with this Warr who was after Str gear (Str EoF cloak, Str AV ring etc.) and he was convinced that Str is the way to go, telling me he plays Warrs since TBC (I main them since vanilla). I outDPSed him with my 4.5k BDK alt in mixed gear and green trinkets while he was over 5.5k. Just amazing... The saddest thing was he was my guildie, and with a good Rank. I /ignored him and left the guild...
