Weird account problem.

Greetings, everyone.

I had a very old account back in the day on Molten WOW which I did not use for years (I got out of wow). Now I'm back and I heard from friends who kept on playing here that there was a data wipe and all accounts were lost and had to be recovered in a certain period of time. Since I did not know of this I don't think I can stilll recover mine, which I can understand. Problem started when I tried making the account back and the username and e-mail adress were taken. I tried changing it's password but the site keep's on saying that there is no account with that username and, at the same time, when I try to create it back it says the username is taken. Can someone help me? Much obliged.
