Suggestions for Lordaeron Hardcore Mode!
Hello guys,
I realy like this "Hardcore Mode" and I would like to suggest some ideas for it.
Mind that these are just some tips for the developers to make Lordaeron server competitive, interesting and fun to play.
How can this server become hardcore?
First of all: I red that someone suggested that mobs, bosses, etc should be stronger (armor, damage, health increased), but why should it become so complicated to remake every mob, boss, npc, etc attributes when you can just do this:
1. Health given from "Stamina Points" reduced.
I don't remember exactly how much health was given back in Woltk but a reduction by 30% would be enough.
Example: 1Stamina = 10 Health. / Instead: 1Stamina = 7 Health
This percentage reduction is enough and well balanced for PvE and PvP!
PvE: decreasing the health recived from stamina would make things harder to accomplish, everyone whould think twice before making a bold decision.
PvP: duels, arena or battlegrounds will end faster, because let's face it, in general you want to fight with more enemies instead of fighting one enemy for 10 minutes am I right? and points gained from arena or battlegrounds will be earned faster.
2. Second: I will talk about items and there quality "Common(White) - Uncommon(Green) - Rare(Blue) - Epic(Purple) - Legendary(Orange)":
Common: Items that should be found only in a basic NPC Shop and nowhere else.
Uncommon: Set items that should be obtained from Questing.
Rare: Items that should be bought from special NPCs with a lot of honor or obtained only from small bosses from arround the world with a small drop rate chance.
Epic: Items obtained only from defeating Grand Bosses like "Arthas" or "Illidan" also with a very small chance of drop.
Legendary: Items that should be granted after a Big Event has been finished for those who are worthy.
Example: An event where everyone with max level can participate and others just observe and cannot interfere a place like Gurubashi Arena but a little bit modificated for a 1v1 PvP between same classes or mixt. Lets say it will take place once every month at a specific hour.
For participation is necessary to pay 1000 gold, you will enter in this event by turn.
Two types of fighting:
First: Same class PvP. (If you lose you are disqualified, if you win you get to the next round.)
Second: After everyone defeats his opponents it will remain a fighter for every class.
The classes will be chosen randomly to fight, until one fighter remains and gets a Legendary prize at his/hers choosing (Item Type = Weapon).
The winner can participate in the next tournaments but without his Legendary items, like this will be a balanced fight.
3. Third: Healer and Tank Roles!
Healers in general are way to strong no offense to those who prefer Healer role, but it is kinda OP.
Why?
Well a healer should heal a small or medium portion of an ally's health, not all of it at once every time or every 10 seconds.
A healer should support his allies with buffs , sheilds and heals but with a moderate quantity not more then a DPS could deliver in an entire battle.
Tank Role should be resistant only and not damage dealers, it is annoying when a tank defeat a dps because he has more damage, resistance and health.
I suggest reducing the damage from abilities that does damage.
And last: Experience Rate:
Indeed for some people it will be annoying to level so slow but for others leveling and questing means something.
I suggest instead of blizzlike rate (1x) make it 0.5x, true Hardcore.
Lets say the experience rate is to small but why would you like to get 80 that fast?
When the real action is taking place when leveling and farming.
If you don't like a hardcore server then don't play it right?
