Icecrown Quests

I am having trouble doing some of the quests in Icecrown. The first quest that I am having problems with is the The Valiant's Challenge. I spoke with Danny and the unit summoned but I was unable to fight him. I waited a while to see if the unit would attack me but nothing happened for over 5 minutes of waiting. Then abandoned the quest to try to reset it and now I am unable to re obtain the quest. Also had similar problems with the quest The Grand Melee.

The other quest I am having problems with in Icecrown is Into The Wild Green Yonder. After I spoke with the quest giver I tried to get on the proto-brood yet every time I click on it all that happens is a proto-brood is summoned in place and I am unable to ride it. I have seen someone spam the proto-brood and it spawned multiple proto-brood in the one spot and just made the place a nightmare to get out of.
