i have tryed longing in a few time in the last 10 mins and it is telling me that the log in sever is down not sure if it is just me or if this is happening to others but can some one tell me what is going on. please and thanks

it has been 21 hours now and still cant log in
Try checking your realmlist. if its say "set realmlist logon.warmane.ru" change it to "set realmlist logon.warmane.com"
That worked for me and i know it also helped several other people.
Step 1: Open your Wotlk folder
Step 2: Open the Data folder
Step 3: Open the enUS folder
Step 4: Open the Realmlist file. (use notpad or any other program for opening it)
Step 5: If the realmlist is set to "set realmlist logon.warmane.ru" just change the ru to com "set realmlist logon.warmane.com"
Step 6: Start wow and try to log in. it should work
Step 7: celebrate with a beer. or a soda if your to young for a beer

do i just need to download the game again and hope it fixs it ?

Try open the WTF folder and then the config file. make sure it also say set realmlist logon.warmane.com and not set realmlist logon.warmane.ruQuote:
