Ragnaros -> Deathwing free trasnfers? opinions?

Hey so whats up with this? I went to get character unstuck from site and the first option from the free market was realm trasnfer to deathwing.
Maybe its available both ways but , this has been on my mind for a whle now, do you think it would be best to merge both realms since Lordaeron is coming out and some people will go there, hence lossing overall population on the x7 realms? Right now peaks are 2.9k . That would mean merging at 4k 4.5k average. I believe reducing the costs instead of having 2 realms we could have an enhaced single x7 realm, with more people. More activity overall, etc.
This would be great imo. I dont care which server holds the merge.
What are your thoughts about this?

right now this is online, not a peak of 2.9 but rather 3.4 on both (see information tab)
Not extremely much people will leave for lordaeron I guess either. The lordaeron realm is not intended for everyone, plus higher rates are favored by more players than x1.
