I want to move from Cata to WotLK and so I need to have the WotLK client. But do I really have to download the client, which has 18gb, from the homepage or is there another way to play on WotLK ?

I believe you can 'patch down' but it is a complex and time consuming method. It would be less frustrating and probably faster to just re-download the client. Just download it and not use the internet for anything while it's downloading for optimum speed. If you wish to patch down then just search it in google, it has a few good results but they are from other Private Server forums so I can't link them.Quote:

That should not be possible on wotlk. That feature was added in Cata. Wotlk client can not work if it doesn't have all required data and it can not download that data while playing.Quote:
