Warmane newcomer questions about imminent points change

Hi Fellas,
i played to other Vanilla servers before, now i am in the mood of some WOTLK resto shaman pvp and Warmane Ragnaros is my choice.

I am preparing a weekend of hard nerding for level my first lvl 80 char, but then i read the news about 1st September point reset.

Having no idea how point and donate work on this server, i humbly ask:

Does nerding/voting hard is gonna be useful/make sense with only 15 days of current point system left? I should just wait for the new point system?

Any complimentary advice about voting/doning :D ?

For Wrath, yes. You can buy some 239 BoP Epic gear for between 50 points and 100 points. Including weapons and jewelry. Just go to your account panel, then to Donate, choose your correct realm and character and for currency change it too Points and you can browse the Marketplace. It's layout is the same as in-game Auction House too so I imagine you know how to search for specific things

But so, after checking the store, look to me that with vote point only i can have Furious weapons/sh./jew. and just Deadly gear as armor.

Is that correct at the current state of the server?
