Did not understand ...?

Lordaeron release date is set to September 25, 2015. More information is here, public faction poll is here.
WEBS Test Restoration has successfully verified and processed 17,042 characters eligible for restoration.

stupid question but..
Im really exited about the server but i dont understand the: 17,042 characters eligible for restoration.. ?

anyone have a good explaination on that so i can understand it ?:)

That's just for the people who downloaded the back-up off the website... Those 17k eligible characters for restoration are for them. ^^

You missunderstood, thats a separate news, lordaeron will not be full of 80's and geared once its launches.

They added a feature which allows you to make a copy of all your characters on a back-up storage system, it has nothing to do with the old characters, it's just a way to say "It won't happen again" regarding the accident which took place in January, this year.
