So how can you explain this ****? Some GM`s friend wanted one of dat names or what?

Yesterday a friend of mine had to rename his hunter "Awesome" without any foregoing justification from a GM. Shortly after he had renamed his hunter, there was a night elf druid named "Awesome" from "X Ascendance X" in the armory. The purpose behind that mandatory namechange is obvious as f***. The server's professionalism is decreasing gradually (e.g. still no fix of mount requirements after 1 1/2 months).

It was explained in another thread, that players themselves are somehow forcing a name change on us. Or at least that's what I gathered from skimming the thread. Either way, staff are not doing this, and they have fixed this.

There was a bug on blackrock that allowed to take already used names. If it will be possible to restore names to original owners then it will be done, but I do not know if devs can do this for everyone.
As for your rogue's name - it's not allowed to have such names like pedobear in a first place.
