Old Player Attempting to Return... Disappointed with the staff..

I have been on a long WoW break and last night I was thinking about getting back into WoW.
So I went to the only private server that I felt was worth a dam MoltenWoW only to find out that it was hijacked.

From doing my research I saw that they still had the donation information and simply moved over to a new name and that we could get our donations back with a ticket.

I went to submit a ticket but it was only for ban appeals so that option was out of the question.

PMed a few forum mods to find out that because I was not actively keeping myself updated on MoltenWoW I am getting screwed out of my $1,000+ in donations. Why am I being punished because MoltenWoW's security system was flawed and they failed to inform the community?

They had the donation information so they clearly had my email. Why was I never sent an email informing me of this issue?

If this is the way that supporters are going to be treated over at Warmane I'm glad that I found out before I ended up donating more money into this server.

You had more than half year to recover your account, and yes, "donations". When you donate you're doing it to support the server, not directly ordering your gear or coins, this things are just some kind of perks for your kindness. And again.. half year.

Lol, get over it; it's old news.
You had time, plenty of it, to get back some of the coins you donated and you shouldn't really waste that much money on donating. After all you're just only a donor, not a customer.

Please show me where I had the time to restore my account?

I took a break from MoltenWoW and did not receive any notification that this happened.
If they sent out emails to the donors then yes I would agree with you that it was my fault.

This however was not due to me but the MoltenWoW's mistake.

if your account meant that much to you than you should of kept an eye on things. it's a private server and sht happens.

Yep you missed out on a lot :) even though it could have been prevented if it weren't for the ignored.
But like the rest of us, you are going to have to grind.
What is lost can always be replaced, speaking in virtual possession of items-wise of course.

Players had over 7 months to restore their accounts.
