When playing my resto druid, I always try to use symbiosis on warriors for the fear, and it randomly seems to work like 1/5 of the time. When it does, the spell works fine- I can fear targets as intended.
But I can't figure out why it works sometimes and not others. It even fails most of the time when the warrior is in my group and my symbiosis buff has completely expired.
I can't figure out any rhyme or reason to why it sometimes works- does anyone else know?
Only what I know it's that if you use it on someone else who ain't in your group, it gets bugged. Works fine every other time if you use it on party members.
If your in a raid the person you want to give it to, needs to be in your same group.
Ya but keep in mind that only fix getting spell, but it dont fix getting proper spell for your spec.
I use Symbiosis ONLY on people in my same group and 50% of the time it does not work, I do not get any spell from him and he get no spell from me, of course I always check if they have any Symbios buff from other Druid. Same it happens in Arena, recently I did some 2s with a War to cap CP and Symbios never worked on him.
In 2v2 combo with spriest, I am feral. Symbiosis worked every time. But ye, often it bugs out in BG's
its better give symbiosis to monk..

I go back and forth on which class symbi I prefer for bgs. Right now I lean towards DKs, for icebound fortitude. That damage reduction + stun immunity is so nice, especially with paralytic poison stuns proccing so often.
