Keep doing quests and selling everything you loot (probably to a vendor). It's almost supposed to be like that in WotLK. Also, if you don't see yourself "needing" a spell anytime soon, you don't "have" to buy it. At this point on my Lock, I went to ( http://wotlk.openwow.com/spells=7.9 ) and mapped out which spells I would need for the spec I was going. After level 20 I only have to go back to the trainer about every 4 or 6 levels and even then I only get 1 or 2 spells. Don't worry, as you get to a higher level, "trash" drops in grey start selling for more to vendors and that will help out a lot. Just keep bumping up those bag slots :)
This happened to me when I got to level 20 as well. I went and farmed some mobs for a few grey items for some quick silver, then bought water with it (I play a Priest). Then I continued on questing and vendoring everything I looted and I made back my money pretty quickly.
1. Get bags. Any bags. 6 slot bags are about 90 copper.
2. Loot EVERYTHING. Grays, whites, meat, anything and everything
3. Get the addon Sell-o-matic. It will automatically sell grays for money whenever you go to vendor.
4. Auction meats/recipes/cloth, any white items that people would buy. If they are utter trash, just vendor those too.
5. Farm.
If you're a rogue, go to any of the kobold mines and pickpocket like crazy, I've got 10 silver (needed for guild charter) in probably 2-3 minutes. Or any place with numerous humanoids.
If you're anything but a rogue, just farm whatever green/yellow (if you can handle them) mobs and vendor grays.
Just collect everything and sell it, works all the time!
