Password reset by another IP address that isn't mine....

Hi,

I just noticed someone from another IP address tried to request a pass word reset for my WM MOP game account.

(From my Email)
We've received a request to reset your password.
The following IP Address is making the request: 121.217.196.177 (16 hours ago)

Does this happen often to others? I have never given my game account info to anyone, and it's been a few months since I've logged in (I'm from Canada)

Anyone can send a request to reset the password of any username.
If your email isnt compromised you shouldnt worry.

Thanks for the reply...I wasn't aware that others can send out pw requests for game characters. Not worried about it then.

They can't request a password reset without your account name.

Some times the account name is the same that the forum one.
And when you get ban, everybody know your account name x'D

Well yeah, I just pointed out that the account name is needed because the OP appeared to think it was possible using a character name.
