hey there,
so were just havin a grun icc10 and i realised, the 4set t10 bonus isnt working. im just not gettin the 18% dmg buff... is it just me beein buggy or is t10 mage complety useless now?
Nvm , i just realised its not about t10. im like, completly bugged. cant see my iceblock, cant cancelaura it, cant see flames at BQL etc.... does anybody know any fix for this?
It's been bugged like this for years now and will only be fixed when Lordaeron's scripts are ported over to the other 2 wotlk realms.
That's known as the mage bug and it influences pretty much all the temporary buffs you get like trinket procs, Unchained Magic on Sindragosa, and more. From what I've seen it's fixed after you die a few times so just try to pay more attention while you're influenced by it.
if there isnt a known way to fix this bug, do u know what exactly causes it?! or is it totally random?
I don't think so. It seems to occur randomly after you've killed DBS or so in ICC.Quote:

That is correct and unfortunately this leads to the two Fire specs (especially Fire/TTW) doing lower DPS than they should. It used to work fine back in 2014 but well...hopefully we will see a fix soon.Quote:

The next time they'll probably make any script-related changes to DW/Rag will be when they port over Lordaeron's scripts. Which is to say it probably won't be fixed for a long time. This has been bugged for a number of months now, has generated tonnes of outcry, is the highest voted bug on the bugtracker, and they haven't fixed it yet, which leaves me doubtful that we'll probably see a fix before Lord's scripts port over. It's a shame because I actually know a lot of mages that either re-rolled, or left entirely due to this bug not getting fixed.
For the longest time, mages were unable to actually play their top DPS spec (TTW), and instead were forced to stick with FFB. And when TTW finally got somewhat fixed, whatever DPS that was gained from it working again was lost with them breaking t10 2p in an attempt to fix something else.
