I'd prefer this, not sure how everyone else feels. Maybe just a week or 2 at most, give a chance to those of us with full-time jobs/classes to level cap before putting a timer on progression races.

naxx and OS didnt open for 2 weeks after wrath launched so most people could catch up
im fairly certain they will do the same thing here
Fighting for Realm First OS is hard if you got a job, but that's what all the kids are fighting about :)
If your real life commitments are going to significantly slow down your leveling process, I'm inclined to think they wouldn't allow you to be in the progression race anyways.
Take a few days off or deal with it - simple as that
I'm pretty sure everyone who doesn't has to wait (which is generally the major slice of the players by far) wouldn't want their game play to be stalled because of people who need to "catch up." I could see content being held back because of some bug found or the like, but not for the convenience of the smaller part of the community.
it's tier 7 anyways lol...
I'd be more affraid for a wrath release with a broken TOC/ICC which allows easy 245 and 264 gear farming while completely skipping naxx and ulduar.
That would be my horror scenario.
OS 3 drakes will be hilarious ... I'm pretty sure a lot of guilds will underestimate how hard (or rather how much loot they need from naxx first before doing it). I can already see people wiping at 90% in the first week because they thought they can get that additional loot since they are "pro"
