Never Really Done One But....
Well, I've been playing here for about 5 years now, but I've never really introduced myself yet. Better late than never right?
If you don't know me then I'm Ajax.
I go by other names as well, such as AJ or Div (short for Divinatus).
I started playing WoW in 2004 about a month after release. Ever since then, I quit retail for a short while (12 years lawl) for private servers because of financial issues.
I've played on about 4 servers prior to discovering Molten (Warmane) in 2011. My first server was killed by Blizzard and the other 3 were so poorly populated it felt like I was playing Castlevania with Multiplayer.
To cut to the chase, I'm an average gamer simply because I don't tie myself to one specific game at a time. I usually hop from Retail to Molten, then go from Smite to League, then maybe play Elder Scrolls, Warframe, or Call of Duty. My schedule usually hinders my playing time so i try to get as much out of it as i can, and i get bored pretty easily. When I DO play World of Warcraft, I mainly play melee classes such as Warrior and Death Knight, but I occasionally log on to Frost Mages and Elemental Shamans. I don't climb ladders on anything except Death Knights and Warriors, but I can still call myself a multi-classer, nonetheless.
If you're wondering, my schedule consists of Schoolwork, Hip Hop, Chorus, a Robotics Team, and mainly work. I only really have Fridays- Mondays off, in terms of extra-curricular time. If you do find me online, I mainly play on Neltharion, Lordaeron, and the occasional Warsong login. Other than that, I'm on Retail or any of the other games I've listed above.
I watch anime, but I'm no Otaku.
If you're wondering, my avatar contains SNK's K' from The King of Fighters beat em' up game series that once rivaled Capcom's Street Fighter, and the insignia is that of the Black Arms from Shadow the Hedgehog.
I major in Graphic Design and Minor in performing arts, so i don't really have to worry about HEAVY schoolwork, but the occasional 2 week, weighted project that takes a lot of time such as assigned choreography or an original stock image that can have no outside sources or images (no sigs T.T). I'm a bit of a lore fanatic when it comes to RP games in general, but I honestly can't take the time to roleplay in-game. I may do a few forum-boards but other than that is pushing it.
I do write poetry every now and again but i haven't written one in a few months so i feel a bit rusty. I often come off a bit condescending to the average audience, but that's because I have a habit of using clever words in the wrong places. Tends to give off that "edgy douchebag" vibe if you catch my drift.
In my time playing here I have noticed the rise and fall of about 4 different Molten (Warmane) communities here among each realm I have played on, so if i ever get to ranting about the past, it's because the community i quote on quote "embedded" myself in was more vocal of opinions and careless of the mods reading their threads, so there's that. This is getting pretty long so I'll cut the rest of this short:
Things I really hate are incompetent gamers, ignorant individuals, or those who judge your personal character off of your past decisions.
And, uh, Warmane will always be my home since it's the only server I've stayed on for this long.
